
Rebecca McKenna, SLT
Rebecca is a Senior Speech and Language Therapist with years of experience working with children with complex difficulties and disabilities. She has experience working with individuals between 0-18yrs who:
- are autistic
- have intellectual disabilities
- have cerebral palsy
- have physical and sensory difficulties
- have genetic disorders
- have speech sound disorders
- have developmental language disorder
- have developmental verbal dyspraxia
- have stammers
- have anxiety related communciation difficulties
Rebecca engages in continuous learning to provide the best possible support to the individuals she works with. After completing her undergraduate degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies in Trinity College Dublin she has completed Lámh training, has completed a range of training in introducing and implementing Alternative and Augmentaive Communication (AAC) systems, understanding and supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, training in understanding and supporting young people with ARFID, Neurodiversity and neuroaffimative practice training and is trained in administering the ADOS-2 and ADIR Autism diagnostic assessment tools.
